I AM GLAD TO SEE A WEB SITE SUCH AS THIS.THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW HOW CROOKED ALLSTATE INSURANCE CO REALLY IS..........
I OWN A SMALL BUSINESS IN MY TOWN. ON DEC 12TH ONE OF OUR DUMP TRUCKS HAD BEEN HIT BY AN INSURED OF ALLSTATE. THE DRIVER HAD NO VALID LIC. AND WAS LEGALLY BLIND IN ONE EYE. THE POLICE REPORT STATED THAT MY DRIVER IN NO WAY SHAPE, FORM OR FASHION CAUSED THE ACCIDENT.
AT PRESENT, OVER 6 MONTHS LATER, I AM STILL TRUCKLESS NOR WILL THEY ASSUME LIABILITY FOR MY LOST DOWN TIME. I HAD TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY WHICH I AM NOW RESPONSIBILE FOR ATTORNEY FEES.
ALL THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED HAD THEY JUST FIXED MY TRUCK FROM THE START.

You don't mention the name of your own insurance company and broker or agent, and what if anything they are doing to help. There is a no fault system here in Ontario, so that in a situation like yours, your company would pay your claim and the other person's claim would be covered by their company.
Allstate gets of large portion of their premium income by insuring drivers like the one you describe, through their subsidiaries Deerbrook Insurance Co.in the US and Pafco Insurance Co. in Canada.
The high premiums charged for high risk insurance become very profitable if you don't pay out on rightful claims. Given the apparent number of people out there who seem to feel that they are being unjustly treated by Allstate and the reputation of US citizens to fight things out in court I am surprised that there hasn't been a class action challenge to Allstate's way of doing business. The strength of numbers could balance the financial clout of an insurance company.
Agents and brokers who knowingly sell insurance that is not honour also have some liability. With the increasing use of the internet any group wanting to join together in a common cause has an ideal and inexpensive means of networking.
Best of luck!
