"I feel like Commercial Union is only good for the run around."

Commercial Union and General Accident merged in the summer of 1998.
They are now part of the CGNU Group.

Friday October 23, 1998

As of right now I feel like Commercial Union is only good for the run around. My son had an accident on 10/11/98. Today is the 23rd and still this has not been assigned properly. After 10 phone calls which were all long distances. I spoke with a very arrogant supervisor named Mr. James Leavit.

I am the victim who has continuously been given the run around by one Alicia Oaks. Mr. Leavit did inform me that they have not received my claim and they should receive it on Monday. On October 22nd Alicia Oaks informed me that she spoke to a claim rep and would have that person contact me before 3:30 when I left work. Needless to say three phone calls today I finally had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. James Leavit to be informed they received nothing from her.

Who's the liar. I know Alicia is, at one point she gave me the fax number for the Northeastern office, after calling her back and asking for the correct number she stated she would call me back. An hour and a half later I called and asked for her supervisor. The girl did not give me the supervisor but did give me the phone number and said Alicia tried calling me back but I gave her a fax number. Sounds like my story but she used it to her advantage.

I need a rental car because the hood latch is broken and won't stay closed. Would anyone there approve it. No. Needless to say I am paying for this myself. I am glad they take care of the victim. Mr. Leavit's remark was there was only minor damage to your car. It may be minor but it would be unsafe to drive without a hood latch. Also, it is $1600.00 + worth of damage to him it may be minor, to me it is expensive for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Well thank you for letting me sound off. With people like Mr. Leavit and Ms. Oaks I'm surprised there isn't more complaints.
