Would you be safe in the hands of Allstate?
It is reported that Allstate has purchased Pembridge subsidiary Pafco Insurance Co. and intends to operate Pafco as a seperate company. Pafco is currently Canada's largest provider of insurance for high-risk drivers. Pembride's U.S. subsidiaries will be folded into Deerbrook Insurance Co. Allstate is reported to be the largest U.S. provider of high-risk auto insurance through it's subsidiary Deerbrook Insurance Co. and to be sending "fairly heavily" on radio and newspaper advertising in an effort to become one of the top three players in the Canadian insurance industry.
