Consumers considering using the services of this firm may be interested in the experience the Shuttleworth family of Toronto, Canada. The family were driven from their home by a fire in November 1995. In August 1996 the family was in urgent need of legal advice and approached this firm. The Shuttleworths were very dissatisfied with the service provided by this law firm and refused to pay for the services the firm alleged that it had provided. The firm sued for payment of its fees. The matter is currently before the court.
On April 30, 1998 this matter was ordered "To Trial" by the Honourable Judge Fitzpatrick, of the Ontario Court (General Division). A trial of this matter was finally scheduled for January 28th. 1999.
